Temporary Enterprise Miner Access
To run SAS enterprise Miner 3.0 from the LANS machine remotely,
  1. Mount the following NT Volume as drive letter N:

    \\poseidon.ece.utexas.edu\em

    user :nobody
    password : (no password needed)

  2. make sure you have a writable directory

    C:\TMP

    (if not, create one)

  3. Execute the application by clicking on the icon

Note

If you have problems mounting the drive letter N:, then you need to examine the Enterprise Miner Shortcut/link and
  1. create your own modified copies of

    config.sas
    autoexec.sas

    (replace all instances of N: with some other drive letter)

  2. create your own Enterprise Miner shortcut/link that calls your modified config.sas and autoexec.sas

    (replace all instances of N: with some other drive letter)
